Standard and most basic design, often progessing left to right, or top to bottom, similar to stripes, stacked lines, or waves. This disign is the most common and typically first style or design someone might try when being introduced to disc dyeing. But this simplicity doesn't take away from this design, when done right with specific intentions, it often looks incredible!
Traditional Swirl
Inital design made with the same technique as the Traditional Dye, with a slight to moderate swirl added after. This gives it a more responsive look when spinning and an increased amount of variation from dye to dye
Spiral 1
Slight to moderate spiral design typically done with a moderate number of colors, creating a hypnotic visual affect when spinning, usually done with bright and bold colors
Spiral 2
A variation of the original spiral design with more colors, tighter more defined lines, and a deeper spiral creating an enhanced spinning affect.
Swirl
Colors bursting from the center in a radial swirl-like pattern, this design someone resembles a flower with slightly more abstract and chaotic color surrounding it, creating a satisfying visual as it spins.
Vortex
This design is made with a base design similar to the traditional style, with colors being tightly woven and swirled together, creating an abstract combination of waves, spirals, and ellaborately layered colors.
Cells
Compacted bubbles that are layered together with bold colors and defining edges. This design offers high variability, ellaborate color combinations, and a striking resemblance to that of cells under a microscope.
Feather
Linear feather like patters spanning accross the disc, creating an array of tightly woven together colors that are layered and striking.
Splatter
A simple design made with the splattering and layering of different colors across the disc. This design offers an abstract appraoch to a more tradtional style while remaining unique and eye catching.
Cyclone
This design has the colors working from the outside, towards the middle, creating a calm edge affect, and a tight woven center, similar to that of a cyclone or whilpool
Spin Dye
Radial, circular, and symetric patters creating rings of individual color. This design is simple yet effective.
Party Lights
An adaptation of the Cell design, displaying a bold, black boarder around smaller and more plentiful dots of colors, creating a polka dott like effect or a large scattered array of lights.
